In the Dark

(no subject)

I move out of my place at the end of May, and the closer I get to the date, the more I realize that I haven't the slightest clue how on Earth I'm going to adjust to having a roommate again.

I mean, first off, it's Russian Roulette as to whether you'll even get along with a roommate. Then add to that the fact that, while I have someone else in the apartment that pays bills and helps with the rent, he's never here. Ever. This week was exceptional, and he stayed here three nights out of seven. And even when he spends the night, he tends not to get here until 9 or 10 in the evening.

So basically, I've had the place to myself since his fiancee moved into Toronto proper. They're getting married in May, which is why I'm moving out.

The big question is, do I want to get a place on my own?

No, scratch that. The real question is, can I afford a place on my own?
