Due South

(no subject)

We occupy two floors at work. Obviously, taking the elevator up and down one flight several (dozen) times a day gets annoying very quickly. So we propped a door open. Turns out, the fire marshall won't let us do that, so for the last two days we've been stuck taking the stupid elevator up/down one storey every time we need to go between floors.

DO YOU KNOW HOW UTTERLY ANNOYING THAT IS?

In other news, I saw King Arthur last night. I liked it much, much more than I thought I would. I think the Arthur/Lancelot relationship was played out as the Achilles/Patrocles relationship ought to have been in Troy if, you know, they weren't making all the effort to point out that Brad Pitt's Achilles Was Not Gay! !!!

No, really. I'm not a slasher. Don't mind it, obviously, but I don't actively seek it out. And the Arthur/Lancelot vibe - well, I can take it or leave it as a slash relationship. Or as a straight, friendship one.

I guess mostly I was just glad that it didn't turn into a romance between Gweneviere and anyone.

I have a sneaky suspicion that I'm spelling names wrong, at least according to the movie. But I don't really care.
